"It's shocking to my ethics to learn that Mrs. Parneet Kaur, Former Union Minster of State will be inaugurating a cremation chamber, run on LPG gas at Patiala today” said former Deputy Speaker, Punjab Vidhan Sabha, Bir Devinder Singh.
In a statement issued here, he stated that the District Public Relation Officer (DPRO) Patiala has solicited the presence of the media to give adequate publicity to this 'most clumsy ceremonial inauguration', may be first of its kind in my life time. Incomprehensible press note issued by the DPRO Patiala in this regard is so mystifying that it has completely shaken my sensibility.
What a decline of decency in human behavior? I thoroughly sympathize with all those who suffered colossal collapse of judgmental wisdom and acumen paralysis in organizing such a baffling accomplishment for the Chief Minister's wife ‘Maharani’ Parmeet Kaur to win her favors, said Bir.
Former Deputy Speaker of Punjab Vidhan Sabha further said, "I am struggling very hard to comprehend the mystified nuances of the inexplicable endeavor of the organizers and the modesty of the wisdom of Mrs. Parneet Kaur, as well, having been agreed to inaugurate the LPG gas cremation Chamber. But the million dollar question poignantly hurting my principal moral code is; that why does someone need to inaugurate a cremation chamber, even if it is run with LPG or electricity? I wonder! How uncharitably will Mrs. Parneet Kaur inaugurate the venture of a Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust?
Could it be burning the corpse brought to the cremation chamber for the purpose or cutting the ribbon of the cremation Chamber to welcome the first corpse to be cremated in the chamber with new ‘innovative modernization’. It’s also yet to be seen as to how the organizers would receive and garland the so-called ‘Chief Guest’ on the ceremonial occasion in the cremation Chamber?
I am afraid if ‘Maharani’ Parneet Kaur, seek out pleasures in such graceless endeavors, her next exultant project could be to flag-off the 'Antim-yatra' of the dead bodies of her supporters or their relatives to the cremation chamber or to the cremation ground. Alas! What a shame?”
It’s pertinent to mention here that the Former Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal came under severe criticism, across the spectrum, for getting his huge photograph fixed on all the 108-Ambulances of the State.
If the Chief Minister Capt. Amarinder Singh has little sense of dignity and even a minimal respect for the cherished age old value system, enshrined in the civilized human conduct, than he must take immediate cognizance of the reprehensible activities in his home town and issue explicit advisory to his family members in adherence to the dignified public conduct, signed off Bir Devinder Singh.
